It all began in Texas…
I grew up running around the Lost Pines area of Central Texas. The first show I ever performed in was the King and I at the age of 7 in the Bastrop Opera House. I probably should not have been playing that role in that show. Oh the things we have learned since 1992!
Then it was…
“Oh hey, BFA degree from Texas State University!”
“Well, what a pleasant surprise, one year of edutaining in South Korea!”
“Where the hell have you been all my life, Chicago?!”
And here I am…
So that’s me in a Polly Pocket sized nutshell. I’ve taught theatre through public schools, produced interactive theatre for youth through Olive Juice Theatre and done a little bit of writing for stage and film. I also enjoy knitting, cooking, Body Jam classes and taking too many pictures of my dog.
“Nobody really thinks it will work, do they?”
“No. You just described every great success story.”
